Ski Rossendale is situated in the beautiful Rossendale Valley just 12 miles north of Manchester and within easy reach of West Yorkshire, Lancashire and Merseyside. It has excellent road and transport links with the M66 and M65 motorways plus the A56 close to the Centre. Situated high on Haslingden Old road, overlooking the town of Rawtenstall and along the Irwell valley, the centre has three exciting slopes which cater for a range of snowsports and skiing activity. Whether you wish to put a pair of skis on for the first time, or you are an international freestyle specialist, Ski Rossendale is well worth a visit. There is much more to Ski Rossendale than Skiing and Snowboarding, we have a range of specialist parties for children which focus on great outdoor activity and good food. We have our Ski Lodge for education, team building or business purposes and we have our own Ski Rossendale café which serves a range of good food and beverages 364 days per year. If you are looking to get started in snowsports there is no better place to begin. Ski Rossendale employs a host of specialist instructors who provide expert tuition to children and adults alike. Our nursery slope provides the ideal environment to get you off to a great start in both skiing and snowboarding. After that you hone your skills on our mammoth 200m main slope where our instructors will quickly get you up to intermediate level and beyond. If you are really adventurous you will then be able to use our fun park, packed with jumps and rails to test your new found skills and get your heart beating even faster.

Ski Rossendale has 3 exciting ski slopes.

The Dendex Main Slope of 200m is accessed by 2 drag lifts and has the country's best Snowflex quarterpipe.

The permanent Snowflex Fun Park has jumps to suite all abilities, a box and flat learner rail, as well as a gnarly flat/down handrail.

The gentle Nursery Slope is for lessons only and has 2 Rope Tows and a Travelator Lift.

Ski Rossendale offers the lowest cost ski and snowboard packages in the North West. However we do not sacrifice quality, so your instructors are amongst the best across the north of England. This ensures you get expert technical instruction whilst having fun and learning your new skills in the great outdoors. We will teach you how to control your speed, turn, stop and even, how to fall down safely, building confidence in your new abilities.

What to wear:

Ski Rossendale is in the great outdoors, so you need to wear appropriate clothing, your arms and legs must be covered this helps to protect you from the elements, just like in the snow resorts of Europe. You will also need gloves to protect your hands and warm clothing when the weather outside is not too hot.

Equipment:

One of the great benefits of Ski Rossendale is that all equipment is included in the price, so you don’t need to bring any thing with you, we will fit you with specialist boots and skis which are ideal for your weight and height. We also have protective helmets which are optional on the nursery and main slopes but have to be worn by fun park and quarterpipe users and those participating in race training.
